How many hierarchy levels can I define in the org chart?
Unlimited. You can model company, divisions, departments, teams and sub-teams across as many levels as you need. The chart is generated visually from these relationships, with no manual drawing.
Does the org chart update itself when I hire someone?
Yes. The org chart visualises the data in employee records. When you add an employee and set their department and direct manager, they appear in the structure immediately. On promotion, move or termination, the structure reflects the change the same day.
Can I manage multiple companies in the same account?
Yes. Firms with several entities or sites model separate structures for each, all visible in one account. Each company has its own departments, managers and access rules.
How does the org chart help with leave approval?
The reporting lines in the org chart determine who a leave request goes to for approval — the employee’s direct manager. You define who reports to whom once, and requests route automatically, with no separate setup in the leave module.
Are matrix relationships (two managers) possible?
Yes. Besides the direct manager, you can define secondary managers for cases where an employee reports functionally to one person and administratively to another, and certain approvals involve both lines.
Who can see the whole org chart?
Visibility is role-controlled. HR and admins see the whole company; a manager sees, by default, only their own structure and team. Extra rights can be granted explicitly where needed.
